HOME|Center for Indian Ocean World Studies, National Museum of Ethnology

Indian Ocean World Studies project (INDOWS) is one of the regional studies projects implemented under “Global Area Studies Program,” launched by National Institute for the Humanities (NIHU).
The National Museum of Ethnology serves as the core-center for this project, and pursues the elucidation of “the linkage and continuity of movement” in the Indian Ocean World.
